Jungle Dream -- Green Cymbidiums Watercolor

Jungle Dream

Here's my latest little orchid beauty, a spray of jungle green cymbidium flowers.  It is a varnished watercolor, 5"x 7" on Aquabord panel, done with professional grade watercolors, and glazed with satin finish acrylic for a permanent protective shield, allowing the painting to be displayed on an easel without the barrier of glass and matting in a frame.  These little pictures are no end of fun to create, and will grace someone's desk or bookshelf with tropical colors and cheerful tidings for years to come.  $30.00 postpaid in the US.  Please contact me at Phyllis.Bleau@gmail.com for purchase and shipping details.

Tempest in a Teapot! June, 2015

Pink Teapot Bouquet

Here is my latest acrylic painting, a 12"x 12" cradled canvas panel, 1.25" deep, wired and ready to hang and enjoy.  It is done in cool shades of opera pink, periwinkle blue, and warmed up a little in spots with some dark, rose red and some swinging oranges and yellows!  What a party in a pot!
It is available for purchase, $95.00 with free shipping in the continental US.  Just e-mail me at Phyllis.Bleau@gmail.com to arrange for payment.

West Virginia Bouqet May 2015

West Virginia Bouquet

Here is a 20"x 20" acrylic, created with professional grade paints, on a 1.5" cradled cotton canvas panel that I did in mid-May of this year.  It is a very happy picture, with lots of bright, sunny colors and a buoyant attitude.  I painted this beautiful bouquet while visiting my sister, Pamela Gatens, in West Virginia.  She is a well-known artist up there and often exhibits her work at the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, where she also does frequent painting demonstrations. We had a great time painting together, comparing notes, and she gave me some great ideas for more acrylic subjects this summer.  This one is available for $300.00 with free shipping.  Simply e-mail me at Phyllis.Bleau@gmail.com

Cinnamon Spice Cattleya Orchid

Spicy Cinnamon Cattleya

SOLD

Here is an 8"x 8" watercolor, created with professional grade paints, on a cradled Aquabord panel that I did in February of this year.  I got a chance to use one of my favorite colors, quinacridone coral, as well as lots of opera pink and quinacridone magenta.  Quite a spicy-colored orchid, to warm up the coldest day!  This is a varnished water color, which means it has been protected with varnish and will not need a frame.  The cradled panel is 2" deep with varnished wood sides and is wired and ready to hang, or to display on a table or shelf.  Available for $65.00 with free shipping.  Simply e-mail me at Phyllis.Bleau@gmail.com
